The book holes written by Louis Sachar follows a boy named Stanley Yelnats and how one accident leads him to stay at Camp Green Lake. At camp Stanley makes friends, enemies, and digs many holes. However he also finds a mystery that leads him to find more about the camp and his family's past. In 2003 this cult classic book was turned into a Disney live action movie directed by Andrew Davis following a coming of age theme. Have you ever read a book that left you sitting in stunned silence, flipping back through the pages to see how you missed the clues? That’s exactly what The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides did to me. This psychological thriller isn’t just a story—it’s an experience, one that pulls you in, messes with your mind, and leaves you reeling.

The Secret History by Donna Tartt is a literary masterpiece. When I first opened this book, I was completely swept away by the beautiful writing. All of the characters were perfect in their unique way, along with each of their intricate fatal flaws. Tartt expertly weaves completed themes like love, the danger of isolation, and the consequences of keeping secrets.
